Practice 02 · OTA Management
Keep every listing clear, consistent and ready to book.
Hands-on management of Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and the channels that matter to your property. I connect listing content, room and rate setup, promotions, availability and review workflows, with regular checks of what a guest can actually see and book.
Where it helps
Start with the
actual friction.
Independent hotels, private hospitality portfolios and vacation-home operators who need reliable channel execution across one property or a growing collection. The work can cover a new launch, a listing reset or ongoing OTA management.
- Listing setup and structure
Set up or reorganize property and unit listings so the room types, occupancy, bed configurations and included features reflect the actual stay. Establish a clear structure across Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and the agreed channels.
- Photography, copy and amenities
Organize photo order, titles, descriptions, amenities and practical guest information around the property’s strongest features. Make important differences and limitations visible so the listing attracts the right guest and sets useful expectations.
- Rates, offers and promotions
Maintain the agreed rate plans and channel offers, checking dates, eligibility, restrictions and discount interactions. Review promotions in the context of the property’s commercial goals and the total guest price.
- Room and rate mapping
Check how listings, room categories and rate plans connect to the PMS or channel manager. Document which system owns each setting and verify selected updates through the supported connection.
- Availability and booking restrictions
Review inventory, calendar availability, minimum stays and arrival or departure rules where supported. Establish a routine for checking the agreed channels and resolving mismatches with the relevant system or provider.
- Policies and booking information
Align cancellation rules, check-in information, occupancy, fees and other booking conditions with the approved property policies. Review how these appear to guests and identify conflicts between a listing, the booking setup and operational information.
- Reviews, communication and regular quality checks
Create a clear process for review responses, guest-message ownership and recurring feedback. Carry out the agreed listing and booking-path checks, record issues and keep an action log as the property, platform features and commercial needs change.
What you take away
Defined outputs.
A usable handover.
A scope of work should make the delivery clear before implementation begins.
- A channel-by-channel review of listings, content, room structure and booking settings.
- An agreed content and configuration plan, followed by the selected listing updates.
- A documented map of room types, rate plans, system ownership and supported channel connections.
- A calendar for promotion reviews, availability checks, review responses and listing maintenance.
- A practical change log and issue list, with clear ownership and the agreed reporting cadence.

Good questions
Before
we start.
Can you manage Airbnb, Booking.com and Expedia together?
Yes. The engagement can cover those channels together or a selected subset. We first review the property structure, account permissions and any PMS or channel-manager connections, then define what will be maintained in each system.
Is this a one-time listing setup or an ongoing service?
Both are available. A one-time project can prepare new listings or reset an existing setup. Ongoing management adds an agreed cycle for updates, promotion reviews, availability checks, review workflows and reporting. The channels and responsibilities are defined before work starts.
Can you work with a confidential hospitality portfolio?
Yes. Operating and channel workflows can be built around a private collection without publicizing its identity. The scope is adapted to the inventory, the connected systems and the operating team.
Does OTA management include pricing and guest support?
The scope can include maintaining approved prices and promotions, coordinating with revenue management, and organizing review or guest-message workflows. Pricing authority, response coverage and responsibility for in-stay issues are agreed explicitly so the owner and operating team know who handles each task.
